Look how big he's getting! Can you believe he'll be 6 months old in just a few days?

Finally it's cooler here!

We were finally able to leave the air conditioning this weekend. So we went to Dan Nicholas State Park.

As much as Henry loves pretending things are boats, he certainly didn't like a real boat. Lucas obviously concurs, or just hates the life jacket.

Have you ever seen a duck with such a doo? We were in awe and he bears the name Elvis now.

Tomorrow is Henry's first day of school!

Henry is going to be a big preschooler starting tomorrow! He is so excited. When we started to leave his classroom at orientation, he slammed the door and said no, no! I think it's safe to say he's going to like it.

Henry was actually manageable at Milo's birthday party! For those of you that know how he can be at parties, this is quite the accomplishment. Maybe he'll be able to handle his own. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Lucas' new wedge

We finally found something that should help Lucas' acid reflux. In the NICU, several babies had these, and we found a way to purchase one for home. It holds Lucas at a 30 degree angle which is recommended for babies with GERD.

In combination with medicine, formula change, smaller amounts of milk more frequently, constant pacifier sucking, etc... we hope this is the answer. Although he wouldn't go for it at bedtime last night...

Henry loves to hold his little brother. He's in the "MINE" stage, and uses that persistently when it comes to his baby brother. Lucas feels the same...at first...

Lucas loves loves loves his jumperoo. Although he's not quite ready to jump, it gives him somethings else to do besides sit upright. As most of you know, he suffers from chronic acid reflux, which is very common in premature babies. We have tried almost everything imaginable in the past few weeks, and this seems to be helping tremendously!

Moo?

Henry was quite intrigued by the cow at the mall today. Although afraid at first, that cow was very persistent and won him over after about a 15 minute stare down. However, Henry just couldn't understand why this cow doesn't say moo.

Don't try this at home

Feeling a litte reminiscent, Henry decided to take a ride in Lucas' jumperoo. What is fun at first....

can become a little frustrating later... when you realize you're too big and can't get out...

but he loves to ham it up for the camera!

4 Months Old today!

Can you believe that Lucas is 4 months old today? He's such a sweet boy! We're going for our 4 month check up next week. I think he might be close to 12 pounds, almost 3x his birth weight.
