Mimi & Papa's visit

We loved having Mimi Gage visit us this past week. We had so much fun! Papa came in on Friday & they witnessed Henry's first real food/sweet potato experience. Bagpipes (courtesy of Graylyn) provided the perfect background music for the grand event! On Saturday, we went to Mt. Airy to find that Snappy Lunch was closed for renovations, but we had a great time walking around and visiting with the locals. Thanks again for coming to visit Mimi & Papa. We loved having you here in Winston Salem! Please come back soon!

5 Months Old!

We love the sweater Aunt Missy, Uncle Jack, & Logan! We can't wait for our new cousin to arrive in September! September rules!

What a difference 22 weeks makes...

Henry at 1 week in comparison to Henry at 22 weeks! I don't think he'll be able to wear this little outfit at even 23 weeks! Notice how at 1 week his sleeves are rolled up and look at his skinnny little leg! He even has the hat on in the 22 week picture and it's so small now that you can't even tell.

The weather has been so nice this past week, so we have been meeting Charlie at various parks for picnic lunches. Too bad it will all end soon. Snow has been forcasted for the weekend!

Because we are going to Mississippi soon for a good friend's wedding & to visit my family, we decided that Henry would definitely need a new stroller that would be easier to carry on the plane. Doesn't he look so big!

Today, Henry started trying to crawl! I think he still has a few weeks before he masters it, but he has really started to get places now that he has mastered his rolling over skills.

Today makes 7 days that we've been trying rice cereal. We've even been trying twice a day, and he still obviously hates it!

Mimi & Papa's visit

We enjoyed our visit with Mimi & Papa this weekend so very much! Not only did they bring the treadmill for our exercise needs, but Papa put up wallpaper in the guest bathroom & helped us fix an insulation problem in our basement! Then they provided the best babysitting service ever while Charlie and I attended church. Thanks again Mimi & Papa! We promise we won't put you to work when you visit again. Please come back soon!

4 MONTHS OLD TODAY!

Today Henry is 4 months old. We went to the doctor for his 4 month check up and immunizations today. He is 13.7 pounds and 25.5 inches long.

He's sitting up!

Last night Henry sat up on his own for the first time! I didn't get the camera in time, but here he is doing it today (with just a little help from the boppy)!

Today we visited with some of my friends from FCDS. The last time we saw them Henry was only 6 pounds. Now he has doubled (13 lbs.)! Henry had just woken up from a long morning nap, but he refused to sleep through all of the attention! We can't wait to see you all again.

Henry & Little Alice are just hanging after a tough morning of eating, sleeping, and playing. Alice is the newest addition to my dear friend Jill's family. Isn't she adorable!
